Lynn's current series of contemporary baskets - Wayfaring - is inspired by the most traditional and ancient form of transportation in the Pacific - the canoe.  The ribs are fashioned from rattan reed and the body twined from a variety of fibers including banana, hibiscus (hau), jute, and cotton.
